KUALA LUMPUR, 30 APRIL 2021 – Ho Wah Genting Berhad (“HWGB” or the “Company”) (Bursa Stock Code: 9601), subsidiary, HWGB Medical Devices & Supplies Sdn Bhd (“HWGB Medical Devices”), obtained the approval from the Ministry of Health Malaysia for importing Ojabio SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Detection Kit into Malaysia.
Ojabio SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Detection Kit is based on the colloidal gold method, using immunochromatography for the qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 N antigen.
Antigen RTK is used for the qualitative determination of SARS-CoV-2 neutralizing antibody concentrations in serum and plasma. This is especially useful in certain areas and populations where the COVID-19 virus is transmitting at an alarming rate.
