KUALA LUMPUR, 4 JUNE 2021 – Ho Wah Genting Berhad (“HWGB” or the “Company”) (Bursa Stock Code: 9601), through its subsidiary HWGB Medical Devices and Supplies Sdn Bhd, entered into an agreement with PMCare Sdn Bhd (“PMCare”) to appoint PMCare as non-exclusive distributor of OJABIO SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Detection Kit (“Antigen Detection Kit”).
PMCare is the pioneer and leading third-party administrator (TPA) in Malaysia and it is principally involved in the provision of healthcare management and administration services. It has more than 25 years of experience in the industry and bolstered a network of more than 4,000 strong medical providers nationwide to allow easy and safe cashless access. PMCare is part of Sumitomo Corporation Group, one of the leading trading & investment firms in Japan. It is also the first and only Healthcare Management and Administration Company in Malaysia that have been awarded the prestigious ISO 9001:2000 by the Certification International (UK) Ltd company-wide since 2001.
PMCare is appointed on a non-exclusive and non-transferable basis to offer, market, promote, distribute and sell the Antigen Detection Kit in Malaysia. PMCare will promote the Antigen Detection Kit through its website by displaying the Antigen Detection Kit and inserting advertisements for the Antigen Detection Kit. PMCare will direct end-purchasers to the HWGB Biotech website or any other website as authorized by HWGB Medical Devices and Supplies for the purchase of the Antigen Detection Kit.
